How we give back to your community
This year, in 2021, we are continuing to support the overseas schools work of the Lisa Kent Trust, West Cambridge based WCCYM who work with young people and a larger charity EACH who are a regional charity that cares for life-threatened children and supports their families across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk. They have a care hub in the form of Cambridgeshire hospice in Milton, just North of our Cambridge office.
Lisa Kent Trust
The Lisa Kent Trust is a charitable organisation dedicated to providing the children of the Gambia with the education they need for a brighter future.
Lisa Kent Trust delivers a quality education to children & young people in deprived communities of The Gambia, who otherwise would not have the opportunity of schooling.
This is achieved by providing quality school buildings, experienced teachers and searching out the best in educational resources, whilst ensuring we attend to the pupil’s medical needs.
DataConnectivity help the trust with the provision of ongoing IT support, Internet and Email Services and we also participate in an annual Karting Endurance fund raising race in Northampton.
WCCYM
WCCYM (West Cambridge Christian Youth Ministries) is a partnership
of churches working together for young people, in a manner
that they could not do individually.
WCCYM’s work can be broadly divided into 5 categories:
Making relationships and earning the right to share Jesus
Building credibility and beginning to introduce Jesus
Clear communication of the Gospel message
Mentoring Christian young people
Pastoral work at Comberton, Cambourne and Swavesey Village Colleges – individuals and groups
DataConnectivity support WCCYM through the provision of free website hosting and domain name renewals.
EACH
East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices work to improve the quality of life and wellbeing of every child and family under their care, by providing individual and comprehensive support services at all times.
